In August there were stories in the local and national press about SAVE, a pressure group campaigning against the demolition of houses in the Toxteth Street area of Openshaw, who have been working with architect Mark Hines to propose ways in which the existing buildings can be revitalised and adapted to provide a variety of new housing, instead of them being demolished.We asked Sean McGonigle what he felt about these proposals.
