Spring is in the air !!!!!!!!!!

Spring is in the air at Edge Lane Allotments, just look at this wonderfull snowdrop, one of many bulbs planted by the Discus project on our community plot. Its amazing how a tiny little bulb can fight its way through the fozen soil and snow to produce such a dainty little flower. Can't wait for the summer at edge Lane we now have a full site with a waiting list of 12, we have taken on some very good gardeners who have transformed there plots from a overgrown patch of land to a well planned well worked plot and the bug seems to be catching on, everyone seems to be busy getting ready for the new season. I can't wait.

If you want to have a plot at Edge Lane Allotments please call down to the site on a Sunday Morning and ask for Sharron, Patrick,Julie ,or Mick. You can put your name on the waiting list.

Our first event of the year will be a Beginners Allotment Workshop Saturday 25 th April 1pm -4pm
and its free!!!!!!!!!!. You will learn the basics of growing your own food and how to start a new plot.
