Spread the word in East Manchester.
“If you've got something you want to say, we can help you say it”.
East Manchester Community Reporters is a way of you telling your story
and getting it online.
It could be:
★A blog writing stories about trips out using your Over 60’s bus pass
★Photos of your allotment plot through the seasons
★A video of you making a delicious meal
★An audio podcast about the benefits of dyslexia
For examples of Community Reporters in action have a look at
www.boftheblog.com.
We can help you by providing support and equipment to get your story
online.
As a Community Reporter you’ll also get the opportunity to meet with
other reporters to shares ideas, access courses to develop your skills
further and go on trips such as a behind the scenes visit to BBC’s North
West Tonight.
East Manchester Community Reporters is part of MCIN's People's Voice
Media Programme and is funded by New East Manchester to work in
Beswick, Clayton and Openshaw.
