East Manchester Community Reporters is a way of you telling your story and getting it online.

It could be:

A blog writing stories about trips out using your Over 60’s bus pass

Photos of your allotment plot through the seasons

A video of you making a delicious meal

An audio podcast about the benefits of dyslexia

On my weeks work experience I created a video about people attitudes towards music, I interviewed members of the public who visited The Grange in Beswick and edited these interviews to add to my video, I added a brief introduction and conclusion along with short pieces of narration and also added clips of me playing the songs on guitar.

Whats all the fuss about ? I here you ask Its always the youngsters that spot It first (It must be my eyes )

Well as you can see keen interest in the pond and what are they looking at ? Well I think I told everyone that It was a young Loch Ness Monster that has been dropped Into my pond by a large pelican. If you know what it really is then please put a reply on this page Untill someone tells me then I will keep calling It Nessy.

What Is It ?
Mother , Daughter, Grandaughter and the onsite Ecohortiallotmentoroligist
If that pond is 200,000 fathoms deep then thats a very big Nessy

Hi everybody Its that time of year when we have all the shows,open days and summer fairs. Edge Lane Allotments will be having there annual open day on August the 9th 2009 , posters are being designed as we speak. I hope.

We are looking for any brass band, pipes and dums, bagpipes or any other musical entertainment for the 9th of August, so If you know of anyone or you are Interested yourself then call Patrick Maher on 07977672146.

Surely not ! Whos let our Jess loose with a mans machine (Does that sound sexist? ) Wasn,t meant to be.
But she does look like she is struggleing. Oh hang on yes there is a man around to help out Good luck Jess I know you won't give up.

On the last pic we see mike and his 95 year old dad haveing a stroll round the allotments on fathers day, passing on some of that old knowledge eg what to eat to and drink to keep you fit and strong.

Dominic Viatic, I am on a weeks work experience from my school and am creating a video about people's copncepts about rock music and if it is a possitive one. I also want to understand where some people's negative perceptions of this genre of music come from.
